If your site is down as you read this, the fastest route is to message us on WhatsApp with the site address. We look within the working hour and tell you what is happening, before any talk of a quote.
Send these if you have them: the site address, the exact error message, the name of the host, and how long it has been going on. Those four almost always identify the nature of the problem.
What actually happens, in order of frequency.
The site no longer displays. White screen, 500 error, database unreachable. Usually an update that went wrong, a full disk, a PHP version changed by the host without warning, or a quota exceeded. This is the simplest case: getting back online generally takes a few hours.
The site is hacked. Redirects to unfamiliar pages, adverts appearing, pages in an unknown language indexed by Google, or a red warning in the browser. Restoring a backup is not enough here: if the hole stays open, the site is compromised again within days. It has to be cleaned, the way in found and closed, and then the warning lifted with Google.
The site is extremely slow, or goes down intermittently. The most exhausting case, because nothing is plainly broken. Usually a plugin looping, an unoptimised database, or shared hosting saturated by a neighbour. Diagnosis here takes measurement, not intuition.
Four steps, each with its own deadline.
Nothing is changed on your server until you have approved the diagnosis and the figure.
Assessment
We get into the site and the hosting, we read the error logs, we identify the cause. You receive a written diagnosis in plain English: what happened, what it means, and what putting it right costs.
Within 2 working hoursContainment
A full backup of what exists, in its current state, before any intervention. If the site is compromised, it goes into maintenance mode to stop the spread and protect your visitors.
Within 6 hoursCleanup and fix
Infected files removed, the fault corrected, vulnerable components updated, passwords and keys changed. On a hack, we find and close the point of entry — without that, all of it has to be done again.
Within 24 hoursBack online, and what follows
Back in service, checked page by page, a review request filed with Google where needed, and a written report saying what happened and what has to change so it does not happen again.
Within 48 hours
A fixed price, quoted before the work starts.

Emergency work is almost universally sold by the hour, which means the total is discovered at the end — exactly when you have no leverage left. We do the opposite. The assessment produces a fixed figure, which you accept or refuse before we touch anything.
This entry price covers a straightforward failure: site back online, cause identified, written report. An extensive hack, a compromised shop or a whole server to take over cost more — and the figure reaches you after the assessment, never after the work.
If we cannot do anything, you do not pay for the assessment. It happens: hosting closed for non-payment, no backup and a lost database. In that case we say so, and we point you somewhere else.

- Legal action or filing a complaint
A site put back online unchanged will fall again.
In almost every hack we handle, the cause is the same: a component not updated for months, or a weak password. Putting the site back online without dealing with that is repainting a door that has been kicked in.
The closing report lists what has to change, with how urgent each point is. You can do it yourself, hand it to your usual provider, or hand it to us — the maintenance package covers updates, backups and monitoring from 29 € a month.
It is also the right moment to look at the rest: a compromised site often has other weaknesses. Our free audit gives you the general technical state in a minute, with no commitment.
What people ask us in an emergency.
What kind of sites do you work on?
WordPress and WooCommerce for the vast majority, because that is what most of the installed base runs. Also PrestaShop, Drupal, Joomla, and bespoke PHP sites. If your site runs on something we do not know, we say so at the assessment rather than learning at your expense.
Do we have to give you access?
Yes: access to the hosting and to the site's administration. Create dedicated credentials for us rather than sharing your own, and delete them when the work is finished. We recommend that every time, for your sake as much as ours.
How long before Google removes the warning?
Once the site is clean and the review request is filed, we see anything from a few hours to a few days. Nobody can guarantee it: the decision is Google's. What we do guarantee is that the request goes in as soon as the site is clean, not three days later.
Do you work weekends?
The deadlines on this page are in working hours. For a blocking incident in production — a shop at a standstill, an institutional site offline — message us on WhatsApp: we do what we can, without promising an on-call rota we would not keep. Genuine 24/7 cover is contracted separately.
What if there is no backup at all?
That is the hardest case. Depending on the state of the files, part of the site can often be rebuilt from what is left on the server and what Google still holds in cache. Sometimes not. We say so at the assessment, with what is recoverable and what is not, before you commit anything.
Two ways to start.
