When a website is not enough and off-the-shelf software does not fit.
Your teams are holding the business together in folders, emails and a spreadsheet everyone is afraid of breaking. A market tool would cost three times the price for two thirds of what you need. This is exactly the ground for a bespoke platform — and it is also where projects derail most, for want of having been scoped.

The spreadsheet nobody dares touch.
The signal is always the same. A piece of information exists in three places and differs in all three. One person alone knows how to perform a particular operation, and the department stops when they are away. Data gets copied from one tool to another every week. And the central file has a name ending in "v7 — FINAL (2)".
At that point there are two roads. Buy market software: faster, often cheaper up front, and the right choice when your business looks like everybody else's. Or build, which is justified when the way you work is what sets you apart, and a generic tool would force you to give it up.
We tell you which of the two is yours. It does happen that we conclude a €40-a-month subscription solves the problem, and we say so — that is an honest answer, and it costs you the price of a scoping phase rather than the price of a project.
The three items discovered too late.
Roles and permissions. The most underestimated item of all. Three user profiles cost little; eight profiles with overlapping remits, cascading approvals and temporary delegations is a month of development on its own. We count them before pricing, not after.
Integrations. Every system to connect is a project inside the project, and its cost depends less on your platform than on the quality of the interface on the other side. An old, undocumented piece of software can cost more to connect than the whole platform.
Data migration. Systematically underestimated, because existing data is rarely clean: duplicates, free-text fields, partial history. The cleanup is yours, not ours, and it drives the timeline. We say so on day one so you can start on it while we build.
A first release in production at three months.
We do not deliver a complete project at twelve months. We deliver a usable first release at three, because a real object gets criticised far better than a mockup — and because corrections there cost ten times less.
Included in the price
- Written scope: perimeter, roles, journeys, business rules
- Data model and technical architecture documented
- User accounts, roles and permissions
- Business screens, forms, search and exports
- Readable audit log of sensitive actions

- A test environment separate from production
- Source code delivered, hosting of your choice
- Training for your teams and operating documentation
- One month of corrections after go-live
Billed separately, and quoted up front
- A native iOS or Android mobile app
- Migrating and cleaning your existing data
- Writing the business content and the labels

We price what can honestly be priced.

We do not post an entry price for a platform, and that is deliberate. Depending on the number of roles and integrations, the same need expressed the same way runs from three to twelve months of production. A single figure would be wrong in one direction or the other, and you would have no way of checking it.
So we price what can be priced: the scoping phase. One to two weeks, at the end of which you hold a document that belongs to you — written scope, roles listed, journeys described, data model, architecture, schedule and a firm budget per release. That fee is deducted from the project if you hand it to us.
If you do not, you leave with the document and you brief other agencies from a solid base. That is a risk we accept: serious discovery work sells itself, and a rushed one gets paid for in change requests for two years.
In releases, with something in production at every stage.
Scoping
Interviews with the people who do the work today, not only with those who describe it. Perimeter, roles, journeys, business rules, data model. You receive a document and a firm budget per release.
Weeks 1 to 2Design
Mockups of the structuring screens and the technical architecture. Nothing is built before you approve it, and we favour open foundations your own teams can take over.
Weeks 3 to 5First release
The core of the business, in production, used for real by a small group. That is where half the change requests appear — and it is the cheapest moment to deal with them.
Weeks 6 to 12Later releases and handover
Scope extended, training, operating documentation, code delivered. The goal is that you can carry on without us, including with a different agency.
From month 4
The items that move the budget.
These orders of magnitude are the ones we observe. They let you make trade-offs before the scoping phase rather than after the quote.
| Item | What it changes | Order of magnitude |
|---|---|---|
| Extra user roles | Permissions, approvals, conditional screens to test one by one | + 10 to 20 % per role beyond three |
| Connecting to existing software | Depends on the quality of the interface on the other side, not ours | See systems integration |
| Multilingual | Interface, content, emails and generated documents | + 30 to 45 % |
| Online payment | Bank connection, settlements, refunds | Quoted separately |
| Data migration | Cleaning and transforming what exists | Depends on the real state of the data |
| Product sold by subscription | Separate accounts per customer, billing, monitoring | Quoted separately |
What people ask before they sign.
What does a bespoke platform cost?
It depends first on the number of user roles and integrations, not on the number of screens. As orders of magnitude: one to three months of production for a content portal, three to six for a platform with a user area, six to twelve for an application wired into your information system. The scoping phase turns that range into a firm budget per release, from 1200 € in Europe and 1490 TND in Tunisia, deducted from the project.
Why not post a starting price?
Because it would be false. The same need, expressed in the same words, runs from three to twelve months depending on roles and integrations. We would rather price the scoping phase, which genuinely can be priced, and then give you a firm budget per release that you can check line by line.
Do we own the code?
Yes, it is delivered to you. You choose the hosting, your teams are trained, the operating documentation is provided. You can carry on with another agency without redeveloping anything. That is the question to ask any provider before signing, and the answer should fit in one sentence.
What if the need changes along the way?
That is the rule, not the exception, and splitting into releases exists for it. Each release has a firm scope and a firm price; whatever appears along the way is decided into the next release, priced, and you choose. We do not raise a change request on anything that was written into the scope.
Do you build products sold by subscription?
Yes: separate accounts per customer, recurring billing, shared monitoring and updates. It is a different architecture from an internal application, and it gets decided at scoping — retrofitting it later means rewriting the foundations.
And if existing software would do?
We tell you, and it happens. The scoping phase exists as much to scope a project as to avoid launching one that has no reason to exist. You will have paid for one or two weeks to avoid several months.
