Rebuild the site without losing what it spent years earning.
A redesign rarely fails on the design. It fails on the addresses nobody redirected, on the content left behind, and on the traffic that collapses three weeks after launch. We deal with those three before drawing anything.

The site is not bad. It has become unmanageable.
A site of six or eight years always ends up with the same debt: a theme that can no longer be updated without breaking a page, plugins installed for one occasion and never removed, a load time that has doubled, and a structure that grew by accretion until nobody can find anything.
On top of that sits a more awkward problem: the site no longer says what the business does today. The offer has moved, the customers have changed, the copy is still the launch copy.
So a redesign is not new clothing on the same skeleton. It is the chance to rebuild the structure around what your customers actually search for, and to throw out what no longer serves. That is the part that pays, and it is the part most often rushed.
What makes traffic fall after a redesign.
The scenario is well known and it repeats: the addresses change, nobody sets up the redirects, and Google is left with hundreds of pages that cannot be found. Hard-won positions disappear within weeks, and it often takes six months to get them back — when they come back at all.
So every redesign starts with a full survey of the existing addresses, their traffic and their positions. Each old address gets a destination, written into a table that stays with you. This is not a technical detail: it is what separates a successful redesign from one that costs a year of visibility.
A closed scope, written into the quote.

This figure covers the scope above for a site of up to twelve pages. Beyond that, the price follows the number of pages to take over and the complexity of what sits behind them — a catalogue, a customer area, a link to a back-office system.
One case is worth flagging plainly: when taking the site over costs more than rebuilding it. That happens on very old sites, undocumented, with hand-written code everywhere. We say so at the survey stage, with the figures, before you commit anything.
Four weeks, and nothing switches over before it is checked.
Survey
Every address listed, with its traffic and its positions. An inventory of the content to keep, to rewrite, to delete. You receive a table listing each existing page and what becomes of it.
Days 1 to 4Structure and design
The new structure, then mockups of the home page and two inner pages. Nothing is built before you approve them.
Days 5 to 12Build and content transfer
Pages built, existing copy reformatted, admin set up. You follow progress continuously on a test address.
Days 13 to 24Switch-over and watch
Redirects put in place, domain switched, page-by-page verification that each old address lands where it should. Then a position check at thirty and sixty days.
Days 25 to 28
The items that change the price.
A quote that does not explain its variations is a quote you cannot argue with.
| Item | What it changes | Order of magnitude |
|---|---|---|
| Beyond twelve pages | Takeover, reformatting and redirection of each extra page | + 4 to 6 % per page |
| Editorial rewrite | We rewrite instead of carrying the existing copy over | + 30 to 50 % |
| Online store | Migrating the catalogue, the orders and the customer accounts | Quoted separately |
| Back-office connection | Taking over a link to an ERP, a CRM or a business tool | Quoted separately |
| Hacked or offline site | Cleanup before any takeover can start | See emergency website support |
What people ask before they sign.
Will I lose my search rankings?
Not if the redirects are done. It is the first thing we prepare, before the mockups: every existing address gets a destination, and we check page by page after the switch. We then check positions at thirty and sixty days. A redesign done properly usually lifts traffic, because the technical foundations and the speed improve.
Can the old site stay online during the work?
Yes, and that is the rule. The new site is built on a password-protected test address, invisible to search engines. Your current site keeps running normally until the switch, which takes under an hour and happens at a time you choose.
Do we have to change host?
Not necessarily. We measure what yours actually delivers first. If it holds the load and responds properly, it stays. If it is the reason for a four-second load time, we tell you with the measurement in hand, and you decide.
What if my site is on WordPress?
That is the most common case and it presents no difficulty. We take over what exists, strip out what no longer serves, and start again from a clean base. If you want to stay on WordPress, we stay on WordPress — it is your tool.
How long does a redesign really take?
Four weeks for the scope described here. What stretches the timeline is almost never technical: it is waiting for an approval or a piece of content. On day one we give you the list of what we need from you, with dates.
